A few of the most popular questions and some answers worthy of the Feud (Good Answer! Good Answer!)
Combat
If I lose a player token because I lost combat on the 1st circle and all the corner squares were occupied, can I pay to put that token back in play or is it gone forever?
You can pay to put it into play again.
Source: Kerry June 1, 2005When I pay to move into the 9th circle with Lucifer, do I wait until my next turn to fight him?
No. As soon as you move into the 9th circle, you fight him. If you lose, you immediately move back to the 8th circle. If you have enough resources, you can move to the 9th circle and fight him again.
Source: Kerry June 1, 2005How do I defeat a demon?
You defeat a demon by rolling the two dice. You have to meet or beat the number noted on the corner tiles of the circle where the combat is taking place.
Source: Kerry June 1, 2005Can I move to any corner square of the previous circle when I lose combat with a demon?
Yes. If all four are occupied, then you have to move back another one.
Source: Kerry June 1, 2005If a player loses combat and the closest corner square in the next circle out is occupied by a demon, does the presence of that demon matter in any way? (Does the player token have to be moved elsewhere, does this lead to another fight, etc?)
A player can share a square with a demon, move into it, etc. That's not a problem. They only fight it at the beginning of a turn though, so if they enter a square with a demon they won't have to fight it unless they're still sharing a square at the beginning of the next fight.

If all the demon figures are in play, do we use something else for demons?
Nope. Once all the tokens are in play, no more should be put into play. I’ve never seen that happen though. We deliberately made a lot of demons so that it wouldn’t.
Source: Kerry June 1, 2005Is there any difference between the different demons?
Lucifer is the only one that is different. The other five sculptures were done just for a variety in appearance and not game mechanics.
Source: Kerry June 1, 2005Can Lucifer move out of the 9th circle?
Nope. He just stays there and waits.
Source: Kerry June 1, 2005The rules say you can put a demon on a tile occupied by a player, but not on one occupied by a demon. Do you really mean two demons can't share a *tile* or two demons can't share a *square* (2 squares to a tile, one for each level).
A demon can't share the same square/same circle. They can be on the same tile, separate circles.

Can I pay to make another player re-roll a die?
Nope. You can only pay for actions during your turn.
Source: Kerry June 1, 2005If I make a bargain with another player and pay the agreed upon resources, do they HAVE to hold up to their end of the bargain?
Absolutely not. There’s nothing fair in hell!
Source: Kerry June 1, 2005Can I pay to re-roll one or both dice when rolling for resources?
Since re-rolling a die is an action and all actions are taken after rolling for resources, the only time you can take that action is when fighting Lucifer, which happens as soon as you enter the 9th circle. It can't be used against a normal demon either as the sequence is fight demons, roll for resources, take actions, move demons, next player.

Can I play it so that the corner tiles need to be bought in order to be placed?
Sure, but I really would do that for the 1st/2nd and 3rd/4th circle corner tiles as it may cause quite a lengthy game.
Source: Kerry June 1, 2005On the tile with two 11s, do they make twice the production or does it only count as one?
It makes double the production when an 11 comes up.
Source: Kerry June 1, 2005Do shuffle the corner tiles with the other circle tiles at the beginning of the game?
No, the corner tiles should be separated and placed at the beginning of the game or as you need them for ease of placement.
Source: Kerry June 1, 2005When you buy a tile to add to the board, do you get to look through the stack, find the tile you want, and then pay for it? Or do you pay the resources and then blindly draw a face-down tile?
Once the resources are spent, the tile is selected randomly.
Source: Kerry July 5, 2005Graveyard. One of the Blessed objective is control the graveyard, but the graveyard specifically says cannot be controlled.
Cards always trump rules. For the purpose of the objective, control can be determined in the graveyard with no benefit other than achieving the objective.

Can I move another player’s token more than one space if I can pay for it?
During your turn, you may only move another player’s token one space. You may move all of their tokens one tile though.
Source: Kerry June 1, 2005Can I move to a lower circle (from circle 5 to circle 4)?
Yes, but you still have to pay the cost of moving from one circle to the next.
Source: Kerry June 1, 2005Can I switch places with an opponent?
You would have to pay a blue to move your opponent and one additional one for your movement if you have already used your free move, but yes.
Source: Kerry June 1, 2005Can I move an opponent from one circle to the next by the corner squares?
Nope, not even if you pay the cost. You can only move an opponent to an adjacent tile in the same circle.
Source: Kerry June 1, 2005Can I move an opponent on to a space with a demon?
Yep!
Source: Kerry June 1, 2005What is the advantage of moving my pieces to higher circle tiles besides getting closer to Lucifer?
The closer you get to the 9th circle the more production the tiles make. The 3rd/4th tile makes double the production, 5th/6th triple the production and 7th/8th four times the production.

Since the resources only go up to 9 on the resource cards, do I max out at 9?
Yes you do.
Source: Kerry June 1, 2005If I bump my tracker card and can’t remember the exact number of each resource I had, what do I do?
This has never happened to us, but if it occurs you could always use something heavier that won’t shift so easily. As far as the current game, you should just come to an agreement with the rest of the players if you have absolutely no idea how much you had.

Can I move off the square with the "bad" token?
Absolutely, and you could move someone onto that tile as well.
Source: Kerry June 1, 2005When I roll a 2 or 12, since they are doubles, do I get the extra resource of my choice?
Sure do!
Source: Kerry June 1, 2005What are the "good" and "bad" tokens?
The "good" token is the square chit that has the X2 on it (which doubles the resources for the tile). The "bad" token has the circle with a line through it (which negates resource production for the tile).
